Wish You Were Here

The English rock band, Pink Floys did this song in september of 1975. They wrote the lyrics of this song when they were in one European tour in 1974. They film it in London
(Abbey Road Studios).
It's a rock song, and it was and is very famous.
The original song longs 3:35 minutes. Also, there are a lot of covers of this song.

Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd was an England rock band, in the XX Century (1965). This band was very famous because in their music there were many physiology and sonic experimentation. At the beginning the band was formed by Nick Mason (he played the battery), Richard Wright (he played the keyboard and he sang), Roger Waters (he played the bass and he sang), Syd Barrett (he played the guitar, also he was the principal vocalist). 

This band had a lot of songs, but the most famous were:

- The Dark Side of the Moon (1973).
- Wish You Were Here (1975).
- Animals (1977).
- The Wall (1979).

Charles Dickens - A Christmas Carol.

His full name is Charles John Huffom Dickens. He was born on 7th February, 1812 in Portsmouth, England.

His father was John Dickens, and his mother was Elizabeth Dickens.
Charles Dickens had 7 brothers:

- Frederick Dickens                                    - Alfred Lamert Dickens
- Augustus Dickens                                     - Letitia Dickens
- Alfred Lamert Dickens                            - Harriet Dickens
- Frances Dickens                                       

Before he be writer, he worked in one shoe shop when his father went to jail.

His works were and are very famous, allmost everyone had his books because they were
very cheap.

He usually wrote novels and short stories.

He wrote a lot of books, but the most famous books are:

- Oliver Twist (1838)                                      - Household Words (1854)            
- Old Curiosity Shop (1841)                           - Great Expectations (1860)
- A Christmas Carol (1843)                            -  Our Mutual Friend (1865)            
- Bleak House (1853)                                       - The Frozen Deep (1866)


He died on 9th June, 1870 in Gads Hill Place, England, when he was 58 years - old.







XIX Century

This Century was reing by the queen Victoria. There was a very famous war; The opium war, with China. This product came from England and United States, so there were a lot of addicts to this drug. This war was two parts; 1º from the years 1839 to 1842  / 2º from the years 1856 to 1860. England won this war, so China lost and acceped the drug traffic.

- Now I can play the recorder better, and I know more about theory.

- I like most the rythm exercises.

- I do well the rythm exercises and play the recorder.

- Nothing.

- Sometimes I need some help in the theory part because I don't understand something.

- Once a week I go to English clases.

- A Little in the theory part.

- I leart some things about culture because we watched a lot of videos.

9. What about Marcos?
- I think that Marcos is a good teacher because I like him form to teache as I usually understand everything. But I like more if we play another instruments.
